On May 21, 2023, the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra held its annual Rubber Duck Race. Participants adopted ducks in the race and cheered them on as thousands of rubber ducks were released into the Intracoastal waters by Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill for the "race." The top 30 finishers or so won prizes donated by local companies. All money raised help the Ponte Vedra Rotary Club Foundation, Bit of Faith Ranch, Learn to Read of St. Johns County and Port in the Storm.
